A student at Canton High School has to pay fees for participation in athletics and band, and also has to pay $180 per year for parking at the school, says an article in the
Patriot Ledger, the implication being that there would be no parking fees for students if the override passes. I see no reason at all why I should have to pay higher taxes, if the override passes, so that a high-school student with a car doesn't have to pay his own parking fee.
